The Motor Speech Disorder Committee of the International Association of Logopedics and Phoniatrics and the Association of Registered Speech and Language Pathologist of Cyprus, along with the Department of Speech-Language Hearing Sciences at European University of Cyprus are hosting a two-day composium in Nicosia, Cyprus at the European University of Cyprus.
The Motor Speech Disorders Committee invites papers on:
All Aspects of Language, Literacy, Genetic, neurological, developmental, Educational, physical and Sensory Challenges in Motor Speech Disorders in Multilingual-Multicultural Children and Adults
The primary goals of the composium are: to create a forum for the much needed exchange of information and insights; to explore scientific evidence that benefits researchers, educators, and clinicians in speech-language pathology (SLP) who provide services to culturally and linguistically diverse (CLD) youth and adults with disorders; and to raise questions and provide evidence-based responses and trainings to Professionals and Clinicians as well as give support to families and caregivers regarding these specific communication disorders.
Researchers and practitioners in speech language pathology, occupational therapy, psychology, education, child neurology, developmental doctors, child psychiatry and other related fields are invited to submit an abstract: a title, a maximum 300 word abstract that includes details of their paper’s main focus, a short bio, their population of interest, and three learning outcomes for their presentation.
