The Collaboration of Aphasia Trialists is an international multi-disciplinary network. We support the development, conduct, reporting and dissemination of large scale, coordinated aphasia research activities which optimise the rehabilitation and recovery of people with aphasia. The Collaboration of Aphasia Trialists is funded by the Tavistock Trust for Aphasia. It is not a legal entity.
The personal data we collect is solely for the use of the Collaboration of Aphasia Trialists (members of the Executive Committee and administrators) and is held by Glasgow Caledonian University to enable membership activities and anonymised reporting to our funders. We will do our utmost to keep all data accurate, timely and secure, and we will not disclose data except where there is consent or legal requirement.
We may also acquire publically available information (such as members’ ORCID profiles) in order to promote relevant research online or through our dissemination activities. Membership information will be available on our website. With members’ consent, we may also provide links to external professional websites, social media or other online profiles. Members’ email addresses will be shared with other members of specific CATs groups, such as the relevant working group.
It is the responsibility of our members to ensure that the information we hold about them is accurate. The membership information we hold was last renewed in February 2018. You have the right to request access to, copies of and rectification or erasure of personal data held by Glasgow Caledonian University.
